Central Project Management Agency and Lithuanian Architects Union are announcing Market Consultations for the ‘Future School for Ukraine’ project.
As part of the commitment to foster collaboration and gather valuable insights, CPVA invites all market participants and interested parties to the Market Consultations for the ‘Future School for Ukraine’ project.
In the aftermath of the Russian invasion, the future of education for Ukrainian children is at substantial risk. About 3,000 school premises are damaged or destroyed, rendering one in every ten secondary schools non-functional due to the results of military attacks. Today thousands of children are unable to attend school, which may lead to potential learning losses, estimated in billions of dollars according to the latest World Bank RDNA report.
To provide an effective solution, the Lithuanian government has initiated the ‘Future School for Ukraine’ project aimed to expedite the construction of high-quality schools across the country. An adaptive technical design for building new schools will be obtained through an international architectural competition. The ready-to-implement technical project design with high adaptivity will be provided free of charge to all Ukrainian communities and donors through a partnership with the Ukrainian Restoration Agency.
