On Wednesday (October 23), the Government of Lithuania approved the allocation of €1 million to the European Commission (EC)-funded ” The EU Integration Support Facility for Ukraine” programme. The EC has allocated €10 million for its implementation.
The programme will run for three years and aims to help strengthen the management, coordination and monitoring of EU integration processes in Ukraine, the process of alignment of legislation related to Euro-integration, the quality of the translation of the EU acquis (a set of common rights and obligations), and the overall visibility of Ukraine’s Euro-integration process.
The implementation of the new programme is a vote of confidence and a demonstration that our efforts are creating real value and change. We are happy to continue to help Ukraine become a member of the European Union.
