A new regional programme EU4Youth: Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship, fostering the employment and entrepreneurship of young people in the Eastern Partnership countries, has been officially launched in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Azerbaijan. The kick-off events took place in all four countries in May-June, 2022.
During 2022-2024, EU4Youth: Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship programme will help young people improve their career management skills and build dialogue between public, private and non-governmental sectors on youth employment. In particular, the programme will focus on building the capacity of leading institutions in politics and the labour market.
Synergies among the key organizations that will cooperate in project management were pointed out during the kick-off events. Representatives of different organizations had an opportunity to develop a discussion about the aspects that were important in each country in terms of the implementation of the programme.
The programme is co-funded by the EU and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and implemented by the Lithuanian Central Project Management Agency (CPMA) in the Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine).

Active youth participation is a very important aspect, especially in the Eastern Partnership countries, where young people do not have enough knowledge of entrepreneurship and employment.
