Aim of the project
To enhance the capabilities of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova, including their ability to provide relevant services to civilians in crisis or emergency situations, thus strengthening Moldova’s ability to contribute to military missions and operations in the framework of the common security and defense policy.
Project activities and status
The project covers three activities: – identify equipment needs, conduct public procurement for equipment in accordance with identified needs, sign public procurement contracts, and deliver the purchased military, medical, and mine clearance equipment to the armed forces of the Republic of Moldova.
All medical and military equipment and vehicles foreseen in the project were delivered to Moldova and are being used for trainings and missions. The project activities were completed in April 2025.
