CPVA role

The CPVA is responsible for mobilising the experts and allocating grants to civil society organizations in the Caribbean to improve access to social services, social rights, and justice for vulnerable groups in society, with a particular focus on actors in the food system.

Overall objective of the project

To increase the social inclusion of all actors in the food system while enhancing equitable access to nutritionally adequate diets.

Specific Objectives

  • SO1: To improve social protection systems, access to social rights, social services, and justice for vulnerable groups, with a special focus on actors in the food system.
  • SO2: To support policies and initiatives in favour of healthier diets, including support for behavioural changes in nutrition.
  • SO3: To foster new solutions and unlock investments that boost social innovation and resilience of social systems as well as healthy diets.
