Aim of the project
To renovate and expand the “Unbroken” branch of the Lviv City Rehabilitation Centre in Brukhovichi and to enable the centre to treat up to 120 patients at a time.
Project activities and status:
- Adjustment of the technical documentation for the reconstruction of the rehabilitation centre;
- Reconstruction of the Rehabilitation Centre;
- Reconstruction of the Rehabilitation Centre‘s Administrative Building.
The scope of works has been identified and coordinated with the beneficiary. In accordance with the contract signed on 2024 08 07 with the architectural firm ABMK, the technical documentation of the rehabilitation centre has been corrected. The reconstruction of the building has started after the signing of a contract on 2024 11 19 with the construction company WATZENRODE. On April 11, 2025, during a symbolic ceremony, a time capsule was buried – a message to future generations marking the beginning of construction. From 2026, the contractor for the work has changed to the Closed Joint-Stock Company “Welt Capital”, which continue the works at the facility.
On July 4, 2025, by the decision of the Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Fund, additional funding was allocated to the project for the reconstruction of the administrative building to adapt it for rehabilitation functions. The additional funding comes from fines collected for violations of EU sanctions against russia.
On September 3, 2025, a construction works procurement procedure was announced for the administrative building, and on October 24, 2025, a construction contract was signed with LLC “ART BUD SERVICE,” which is carrying out construction works in the administrative building. The completion of the construction works is planned for the autumn of 2026.
