Objective of the project
To ensure the opportunity for Ukrainian children to attend a pre-school education institution and thus contribute to a European, stronger, socially inclusive and prosperous Ukraine.
Project activities and status
Kindergarten for 450 kids (about 60 employees) is fully renovated. The kindergarten opened on August 24, 2023 (within 8 months after the start of the project).
Rebuilt kindergarten building, which was destroyed by Russian military actions up to 75%, and a new shelter was installed. The premises of the kindergarten are equipped with the necessary furniture and equipment, and new modern playgrounds and other outdoor infrastructure are installed.
During implementation of the project, about 34 staff members from pre-school educational institutions in Irpin visited Lithuania to share experiences and learn more about the organisation of the educational process in Lithuania.
