Project activities and status
- On 24 January, 24 CPVA team led by the Deputy Director of the Agency, Rasa Suraučienė, organized internal control training for the employees of the Agency for Restoration.
- A comprehensive guide for the Agency for Restoration, Methodological Recommendations for Conducting Procurement, has been prepared.
- On 25-29 March, the Agency for Restoration team visited CPVA and studied its anti-corruption ecosystem, internal control mechanism, and public procurement supervision. They also visited one of the Lithuanian central procurement offices.
- During March there were preparations were underway regarding the on-the-job training in CPVA for public procurement supervisors and internal control experts from the Agency in June. Additionally, draft methodological recommendations for the procurement of an engineering consultant and technical supervisor services were being revised to streamline procurements for both for the Agency specialists and suppliers.
- On 11-13 June CPVA hosted an on-the-job training program for the staff of the Ukrainian Agency for Restoration Agency. The programme included comprehensive sessions on planning, monitoring, reporting processes, and procurement supervision. Representatives from the Agency also visited the CPVA administered projects in Panevėžys: – “Stasys Museum” and “Pragiedruliai”. This visit was a practical, field-based learning experience focused on procurement supervision in the EU-funded projects.
- In June CPVA finalised and submitted to the Agency the Procedure and Rules for Planning and Reporting, as well as developed the Monitoring Indicators. CPVA also polished the Methodological Recommendations for the Procurement of Engineering Consultant and Technical Supervisor Services, which will be internalized by the Agency and its regional Services.
- In August the Coordination Group meeting was held to discuss the progress and next steps of the project.
