The Board
The Board of the Central Project Management Agency is a collegial governing body that ensures strategic oversight of the Agency’s activities. Although a new Board has not yet been appointed, you may find information below regarding the principles of its formation and status.
Composition and Appointment Procedure of the Board
In accordance with the Articles of Association of the CPMA, the Board is appointed and dismissed for a 5 (five) year term by the General Meeting of Stakeholders. The Board consists of 5 (five) members:
- 1 (one) representative from the Office of the Government;
- 1 (one) representative from the Ministry of Finance;
- 3 (three) independent members who meet the requirements established by the Law on Public Establishment and the General Meeting of Stakeholders. These members are selected through a competitive recruitment process to ensure the highest level of competence and transparency.
Current Status
Please be informed that the Board appointed by the order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania on April 22, 2024, concluded its activities on August 19, 2025, following the loss of its powers due to the resignation of more than half of its members. According to the CPMA Articles of Association, if more than half of the Board members change, its term of office expires prematurely (unless less than one year remains until the end of the term).
During the most recent period of the CPMA Board’s operation, 24 Board meetings were held.
