Last week, education and local government specialists from the Mykolaiv region in Ukraine visited Lithuania. The visit, organized by CPVA, aimed to share Lithuania’s educational system and institutional experiences with the guests.
In the village of Zeleny Hai, located in the region, CPVA is implementing a project to build a new modular school and a shelter. This initiative will replace the school destroyed by Russian forces, with construction planned to begin as early as this summer. The school, designed for 200 children, will serve not only as an educational institution but also as a community center for local residents. The construction will incorporate recycled materials from demolished buildings.
The €2.7 million project is funded by the Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Fund in collaboration with the Taiwanese Representative Office in Lithuania.
