Overview: National Cyber Security Centre under the Ministry of National Defence in partnership with the Innovation Agency and the Central Project Management Agency (CPVA) is implementing the Cybersecurity Competence Community Upgrade Project (CyberUP) funded by the Digital Europe Programme.
The project aims within a period of 2 years to develop and implement the operational processes of National Coordination Centre, to build up the cybersecurity community through the coordination of knowledge and innovations in EU from the perspective of Lithuania.
Target groups – SMEs, public and private sector.
Implementation period of the project – 1 January 2024 – 31 December 2025.
One of the tasks of the project is to provide financial support to third parties aiming at supporting and strengthening the uptake and dissemination of state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions by SMEs. As part of this task, calls for proposals will be launched. The CPVA will be responsible for evaluating the project applications, concluding contracts with the selected projects and administering the implemented projects.
The amount allocated to the calls –1,98 million EUR (50 % contribution from the Digital Europe Programme 2021-2027 and 50 % contribution from the state budget).
