Purpose of the call

The aim of the call is to strengthen the capacity and motivation of women and children who are third-country nationals or stateless persons, including asylum seekers, residing in Lithuania to participate in public life by increasing their integration opportunities in municipalities.

Supported activities

  • Provision of psychosocial support to the target group, potentially including their close relatives, spouses, domestic and civil partners (e.g. individual and group psychological counselling, therapy, peer support groups, family counselling);
  • Awareness raising, consultations and mentorship to the target group in the field of socio-cultural integration (e.g. on equal opportunities, domestic violence, health, positive parenthood) and/or in the field of professional integration (e.g. on careers, entrepreneurship (including the creation of a social business), labour law, the education system);
  • Activities promoting the interaction between the target group (and, where relevant, their close relatives, spouses, domestic and civil partners) and the host community (e.g.: buddy programmes, cultural activities, sports activities, camps involving members of the target group and members of the host community);
  • Promotion and organisation of volunteering of the target group, including recruitment and training of volunteers, coordination of volunteering activities;
  • other activity(-ies) designed to fulfil the purpose of the Call as set out in point 7 of the DCFP and necessary to achieve the project’s objective, related to the socio-cultural, civic and/or professional integration of the target group(s);
  • childcare or other activities for children, to be carried out during the activities referred to in points 8.1 to 8.5 of the DCFP.

Eligible applicants and partners

Public or private legal persons, international organisations or their chapters legally operating  in the Republic of Lithuania.

Minimum and maximum amount of financial support for the project

The minimum amount of of Swiss contribution and co-financing funds – 127 632,00 Eur.

The maximum amount of of Swiss contribution and co-financing funds – 227 611,00 Eur.

Funding intensity 100 proc.

Project implementation duration

Project activities must be implemented no later than December 31, 2028.

The project implementation plan is completed and submitted in Lithuanian in electronic form using the Submittable submission system.

Selection process

The assessment of project implementation plans is organised by the public institution Central Project Management Agency (Programme Operator). The assessment of project implementation plans consists of the following stages:

  1. Assessment of the project’s eligibility for financing;
  2. Assessment of the project’s benefits and quality.

The Programme Operator institution, considering the number of project implementation plans received, has the right to decide which assessment stage to perform first or to perform both assessments simultaneously.

The deadline for the assessment of project implementation plans is within 65 working days from the end of the deadline for submission of project implementation plans. The deadline for the assessment of project implementation plans may be extended by up to 20 working days, considering the circumstances, as provided for in p. 162 of the Rules.
