Lithuania has been consistently providing support to Ukraine, contributing to strengthening its energy resilience and ensuring the continuity of essential services. In response to Ukraine’s evolving needs, support for the energy sector continues to expand and is already being implemented through several projects. In order to further increase the scope of this support, Lithuania is actively seeking additional sources of funding and donors. A new source of funding contributing to these efforts is the European Union’s Foreign Policy Instrument (FPI).
The projects implemented by CPVA include the installation of solar power plants with energy storage systems in Ukrainian educational and healthcare institutions, as well as the provision of mobile heating systems and other equipment to help ensure the continuity of electricity and heat supply in the event of disruptions.
